Breath of the Wild sequel looks too good to come on Switch

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 could be the flagship of Nintendo’s next console, according to an analysis by DigitalFoundry.

The Nintendo Switch celebrated its fifth birthday in March of this year, so Nintendo is sure to be working hard on the next generation release. Whether it will be the Switch Pro or a new device is still in question.

However, the unquestionable thing is that the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks amazingly great based on the latest video rendering. The digital foundry Experts say a little well.

Guys analyzed the last video and noticed that the image quality was surprisingly good, and everything was clear and sharp, whereas previously it wasn’t due to the Switch’s outdated hardware.

Alex Battaglia specifically highlighted cloudiness in the recording, which he believes is more detailed than anything the current Switch can display, not to mention the smoothing seen in scenes, which he believes even the Xbox Series X should suffer from.

There are several possible scenarios. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was a cross-platform look, so Wii Un also had to run. It is possible that because of this, the capabilities of the engine were reduced in the first part, and this will not be necessary in the (currently) Switch exclusive. However, the most likely scenario is that Breath of the Wild 2 will be a similar cross-platform product as Part One: it will appear on the Nintendo Switch, but will only really show itself on the next generation (or half-generation) machine.

Either way, the sequel certainly won’t appear before 2023, so we still have time to consider the possibilities.
