Anyone ordering a new S-Class in the late seagull 300 SL can do so now.

Automakers, especially in the premium segment, are increasingly trying to serve customers with custom-built cars. Mercedes-Benz is also responding to this demand, which is why it is expanding a service called Manufaktur available so far for the G-Class, which offers a myriad of unique options.

This includes custom body colors and cab options that give you more luxury than usual. In exterior colors, for example, Silicon Gray is an option for the S-Class, which has been in use since the 1960s and was once introduced as a special shade for the Gullwing 300SL. The same is true of mineral graphite and mineral olive, which were popular in the 1980s. Vintage Blue, which was a popular choice among classic generation buyers, is similar to the E-Class (W123) and S-Class (W126).

In addition to the hand-embroidered surfaces and the two-tone Manufaktur leather steering wheel in the cabin, there are a myriad of unique options. The door center panels, armrest and lower dashboard are also finished in extra-thin nappa leather for individual orders.
