On May 8, Sir David Attenborough celebrated his 95th birthday as a British naturalist, nature filmmaker, presenter and innovator of educational television. BBC honors the legendary TV movie.

David Attenborough’s shows are noted as a great communications medium, unparalleled mentor, and hailed as the paragon of public service television. He toured the land exploring the wonders of wildlife, introducing the uniquely rich dragonfly collection in Hungary and the iris that has nearly vanished from the rest of Europe.

In honor of the legendary television work, Spektrum TV will present a 10-hour movie and “The Voice of Human Nature” series over the weekend.

With this short film, the BBC pays homage to Sir Attenborough, who is now 95 years old.
