Musk also said he was “not concerned” with the risk of the Cybertruck failing because he personally loves its design.
He wrote, “Honestly, there’s always a chance a Cybertruck fails because it doesn’t look like anything else. I don’t care. I like it very much, even if others don’t. Other trucks look the same, there will be copies of things, but Cybertruck seems to have It was made by aliens from the future.”
To be honest, there’s always some chance that Cybertruck will get stuck, because it’s unlike anything else. I dont care. I love it so much even if others don’t. The other trucks look like copies of the same thing, but the Cybertruck appears to have been made by aliens from the future.

The 2019 Cybertruck test event was notable for the unusual design of the car, as well as because Musk asked Tesla’s design director, Franz von Holzhausen, to try and break into the car’s windows, which he did. Von Holzhausen threw a metal ball at one of the windows, which surprised Musk, and then quickly tried to save the situation with the bullet that did not pass through the glass.
Despite the initial uncertainty, orders for the $100 car have leaked. Musk boasted that the company received a $250,000 deposit within a week of Cybertruck’s debut.
In September, at Tesla’s annual shareholder meeting and Battery Day, Musk announced that Tesla had received so many Cybertruck requests that the company stopped counting.
The requests are huge…more than half a million requests. I think maybe six hundred thousand – that’s basically a lot of money. We stopped counting
– Tell.
Incidentally, this happened before competitors revealed their plans for more traditional battery-powered trucks, such as the Ford F-150 Lightning and GMC Hummer EV.
As Musk said on Thursday, Tesla has no plans to install door handles on the Cybertruck, without specifying whether this vehicle will meet federal vehicle safety standards in the United States. He also reminded fans that Tesla decided it was With four-wheel steering It powers the Cybertruck that is oversized, allowing it to move diagonally in a straight line and get in or out of some tight spots.
He wrote, “In the end, the series layout is exactly the same as the concept car. Just a few small improvements here and there to make it a little better. No door handles. The car recognizes you and opens the door. The fact that all four wheels are steerable is amazing for quick handling in tight corners!”
In the end, we kept the production design just like the car show. Just some small tweaks here and there to make it a little better. Without door handles. The car recognizes you and opens the door. Steering all four wheels is great for handling agility and tight turns!

The four-wheel steering feature, if you promise, will make the Cybertruck a more direct competitor to the GMC Hummer EV, which already has a “crab mode” feature.
Musk didn’t talk about the Tesla Cyberquad, an ATV product designed for the e-truck.
In the company’s first-quarter investor presentation, Tesla described the Cybertruck as “still in development.” The company is expected to announce second-quarter results on July 26.
