On May 7, Richter Gedeon Plc’s series of programs focused on four stations this year began. The initiative was launched by the Hungarian pharmaceutical company in 2009 to help maintain the health of the population, prevent the activities of local health care institutions, and at the same time provide them with financial support for the necessary developments. In more than a decade of the initiative, 86 healthcare institutions have received a total of more than 446 million HUF in funding from Richter.
Over the years, Health City has become an event that also hosts various health checks, consultations and interactive motivational presentations. It is not necessary to register in advance for free offers, anyone can participate regardless of age.
Within the framework of Richter Health City, the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Company will again provide 3.5 million HUF as essential support to healthcare institutions participating in the programme. Residents can increase this amount by collecting donation points for their participation in healthy walking, lectures, performances, consultations and webcasting activities, increasing the donation base by HUF 300 per point. Thus, at the end of the day, the points become valuable forints, which the participating healthcare organizations use to purchase equipment and develop infrastructure.
One of the four venues this spring is Gudolo’s Main Square, where the Richter City Health Program will be held on Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Current and detailed information about the event by clicking here readable.
We asked Dr. György Dunai, Director of the Károly Tormay Health Center in Gödöllő, about the event we had the opportunity to participate in the Health City Program for nearly three years now, and the app is now a reality. We have learned that the proceeds will be used for the complex modernization of the organization’s outpatient care facility.
