It is not new that the sea is capable of wreaking massive havoc along the coast.
The previous existence of the mythical Atlantis is known by the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, whose history dates back to 4-5 BC. century. Talk about a mysterious island or continent that was home to a highly developed civilization but was destroyed almost overnight, possibly as a result of a severe natural disaster.
Most identify the volcanic archipelago of Santorini in Greece with the former Atlantis because, according to Plato, it was located behind the Pillars of Hercules (that is, the Strait of Gibraltar). But what if we misinterpret the words of the ancient philosopher hitherto?

There was a town on the coast of the British Isles The sea has been sinking for 650 years, Now, however, researchers are re-emerging. The discovery of a settlement called Ravenser Odd, according to local experts, may be of equal importance to the excavations of ancient Pompeii.
Some also risked the possibility of ancient Atlantis being in the region, because if the Ravensr Aude, lost in the North Sea in 1362, had disappeared for several centuries, it could have been an event similar to a mythical civilization.
The British settlement was actually called Atlantis of Yorkshire and was once a major port for merchandise and fishing boats. It was located in the eastern part of the archipelago, at the entrance to the 62 kilometer long Humber Estuary, a great location for accessing the deep interior.

Today, however, it is located deep in the water, about a mile off the coast of Yorkshire. The recently discovered carved stones and the remains of various buildings indicate that they may have already found the lost settlement, the exact location of which has been imagined until now.
Phil Mathison, who was involved in the search, sacrificed 25 years of his life to find Ravenser Odd. Now he sees if it will be determined if a trace of the mysterious city has been found in June. The settlement, founded in 1235, has been around for a century, and even William Shakespeare mentions it in his drama. The sea had eroded its lands before, and finally a massive flood in 1362 washed it off the face of the earth.
