Lionsgate has been planning to film one of the most successful video games of recent years, Borderlands, for some time, and in April we were able to find out, thanks to Hungarian Yogurt, that filming had finally begun. The movie is being filmed in Hungary, and Jamie Lee Curtis, an archaeologist who works on the planet Pandora, plays the role of Tanis, who has shared a photo of the dairy product on social media. The 62-year-old actress has reposted about filming, this time with a mysterious photo of Cad Blanchett playing Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, who plays Lilith, one of the games’ main characters. Adaptation in Borderlands.
According to the movie synopsis, illegitimate Lilith returns to her home planet, Pandora, to locate the missing daughter of Atlas (Edgar Ramirez). The protagonist is joined by several people, including mad scientist Tanis and intelligent robot Claptrap (Jack Black), as well as former elite soldier Roland (Kevin Hart) and Tina Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), who specializes in tiny blasting. Together, they do battle against aliens and bandits, and their goal is to find and defend the daughter of Atlas, the key to a power beyond imagination.
