The European Union is an “alliance of free nations” and something like a condominium engaged in politics. This policy must be followed by anyone who wants to live as a member of the home community. This could even mean changing the constitution for membership, or even changing the name of the country. However, the Polish government questions and does not respect the general rules and principles, which means that it follows a policy of “indirect exit”.
This is unacceptable, harmful to society and used only by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who wants to dismantle the rule of law and the weakness of the European Union.
– Explain the leader of the largest group in the European Parliament. He stressed that he does not support the abolition of the Polish federation’s membership in the “Polexit”, but, on the contrary, seeks to unite society.
As he said, it must be achieved that the Polish government once again respects this policy. Therefore, the European Commission should take the opportunity to withhold EU funding if the independence of the judiciary in a particular country is compromised, and the European Council, which brings together the leaders of member states, should speak frankly about the rule of law in Poland.
Regarding the demonstrations that took place in Poland yesterday, he emphasized that operations could not be controlled from outside, and that Polish citizens had to defend the rule of law.
Manfred Weber, who said there would be a discussion in the European Parliament with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, said the recent decision of the Polish Constitutional Court that some EU rules are incompatible with the Polish constitution.
