Istvan Julius, the former goalkeeper of DVTK club, passed away on Thursday at the age of 61. The sad news was reported on the official website of DVTK, citing István Gulyás’ son.

István Gulyás, who grew up in DVTK youth, moved to Kazincbarcika at the age of 19, and spent his military years at Honvéd Papp József SE. From there, he returned to Deusger, where he made his front-line debut against Tatabanya on February 28, 1982, and in his first year won the trust in a total of 11 matches. The performance value was further increased by the fact that György Veréb and László Szabó were his competitors in this tournament.
