A few days before the upcoming NATO summit in Brussels on June 14, the prime ministers of Poland and Slovakia met in Warsaw on Thursday. Speaking at the press conference following the meeting, the MTI reporter wrote that Poland and Slovakia are coordinating their security policies as countries in NATO’s eastern flank. He declared that this is important because of the cessation of the imperialist policy that threatens the East Matthew Moraveki Polish Prime Minister.
Morawiecki said at the press conference that they assessed “very clearly” the developments in Ukraine and Belarus, as well as Russia’s policy towards the two countries, as well as Poland and Slovakia.
Morawiecki added, at the meeting, that he expressed “great concern and disappointment” about the US administration’s policy on the Russian-German North Stream 2 gas pipeline. This refers to the lifting of US sanctions that announced in May the construction of a gas pipeline under the Baltic Sea.
After talks with the Slovak Prime Minister, the Polish Prime Minister also praised his Facebook post. In this, he wrote about Nord Stream-2, Poland and Slovakia working together to stop a project “harmful to Europe”.
Edward Heger Speaking at a press conference on Polish-Slovak bilateral economic cooperation, the Slovak Prime Minister said that Poland is the third most important trading partner of Slovakia.
