Spain will imprison another Catalan rapper

José Miguel Arenas Beltran was sentenced in May 2018 to 3½ years in prison for inciting terrorism and insulting the royal family. Valtònyc fled to Belgium to carry out the sentence, so Spain issued a European arrest warrant against him.

win over! After three years of legal proceedings that led to the European Court of Justice and the Belgian Constitutional Court, the Court of Appeal ruled that Valtònyc could not be extradited.
