In the second half of the year, with the iOS 15 update, there will be more new features in FaceTime that will not only be available to Apple users.

Apple’s annual developer conference, WWDC 2021, kicks off Monday at 7 p.m. Traditionally, the Cupertino company was the first to announce new features and changes to users, but this time it wasn’t just Apple device users who had to pay attention to a show.

Apple’s vice president of software development Craig Federighi spoke at the launch of the new operating system for iPhones, iOS 15, that FaceTime will also change by the end of the year, when the update is rolled out to devices.

One of the biggest changes is that FaceTime will be available for both Android devices and Windows 10 PCs through a web app. This requires the iPhone user to schedule a conversation and share the link with others.

With the same feature, FaceTime notifies the other party before you call them with a scheduled call.

As a new feature, FaceTime gets a new mesh screen to give participants better visibility, improved audio which Federighi says talking to others is like sitting in a room with them, the ability to suppress background noise so only the caller’s voice is heard, and last but not least, the service will be able to black out Background of future future calls.

Of course, it is worth adding the above that these features are already available in other video chat services, so Apple has not brought much novelty in this area.

Even more interesting is a service called SharePlay. This allows you to watch a video or listen to music with others. All this so that anyone can wind it up or just stop it.

As mentioned above, the new features in FaceTime will be available to users with the arrival of iOS 15 in the second half of the year.
