Although many say the Far Cry series has been stifling for a while, more people are waiting for what to do with Ubisoft’s Giancarlo Esposito and the (semi) Tropical Island Rebellion, plus its open-world gameplay. We’re more curious about Far Cry 6 because we’ve seen material from it a long time ago, and it was also a movie trailer, and we don’t even know when the game will be released yet. So there is a lot to reveal, and this will happen soon at Ubisoft Advertising to me.
Many of us expected that if Ubi actually had Forward, i.e. its own broadcast inside E3, we’d only hear and see something from Far Cry 6. Thankfully, that won’t be the case, as the publisher, accompanied by a passing enthusiast, indicated that it would introduce gameplay for Part 6 on Friday, May 28, at 6:30 pm EST.
The latest Far Cry game, New Dawn, was released early in 2019, and we haven’t backed off on it, although Far Cry 5 has already shown signs that this open-world formula, which has been revisited since Far Cry 3 and re Posted by Ubisoft, in need of effective fixes. So your Friday play demo will be really interesting because it will appear in the context of how much or how much not to rely on innovations.
In any case, Far Cry 6 is going to be a wish game in that it takes place in an environment similar to Far Cry 3, on a fictional island in the Caribbean, Yara, and once again we will have to oust an oppressive force, Anton Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito). “From His Throne” (shame!).
What we’ve learned from a non-therapeutic source is that Far Cry 6 is coming May 26, as it’s May 26 today!
