Originally released for the Nintendo 3DS, The Great Ace Attorney Games are returning to new platforms, this time in a single package. A new five-minute preview takes you into the basic facts of courtroom battles.
The Great Ace Attorney games have been leaking since last year, but we had to wait until April for official confirmation from Shu Takumi as well. Furthermore, we don’t have to wait that long to get the work on Phoenix Wright’s predecessors, as the package that includes it will be released at the end of July. Although The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles was also starred at E3, a longer preview now sums up what you should know about the game’s mechanics.
As with the rest of the game series, investigation and courtroom play a major role here, but we’ll also encounter some new game elements. One of these is the dance of conclusion, which obscures the fact that we need to discover this terrible nonsense in the conclusions of the famous detective, Herlock Schulmes. And during the summary test, we have to point out the inconsistencies in what the jurors say. The video above takes you nicely through these steps, as well as the others in the crucial actions of Ryunosuke Naruhodo.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles will be released on July 29th on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
