The terms “family friendly” and “fighting” seem a bit strange together in the game’s description. However, these were described in the press release at the end of the summer LEGO BrawlsWhich will be a gritty kind of multiplayer fun.
Run around the tracks in customizable minifigures inspired by the popular LEGO sets.
In addition to combining LEGO items as you like to create your character, we can also select custom gear and power-ups to suit your playing style. You can even fight with a baguette, pancake cannon, or portable tape recorder.
In the different multiplayer modes, up to eight can be played locally on Xbox and Switch, while PlayStation has a maximum of four. Up to eight players can join an online game on each platform, while two, three or four players can participate in the co-op mode.
LEGO Brawls will be released later this summer for the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, as well as the Nintendo Switch. ■
