You can’t tell how big the Fall Guys community is now that the game is free

When the special Battle Royale game from Mediatonic development team, Fall Guys, was released in 2020, it became the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time. The appearance was surrounded by great interest, causing servers to die, and many of them were unable to play. History has now repeated itself as the game has switched to the free-to-play model.

This is how Fall Guys reached 20 million players in the first 48 hours after they were free.

By comparison, Fall Guys had about 1.5 million players in the first 24 hours of its original release in 2020. It’s worth noting, of course, that Fall Guys was previously only available on PlayStation and Steam, but can now be played on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Epic Games.
